You just need to be passionate and interested in writing. Yes, you must enjoy your writing. It doesn’t matter what’s quality you have. Always keep in mind that writing skill is one of those skills that develop over time and experience. And of course, you don’t need to be an English guru to be a better blogger. If English skills could be everything, all English teachers would be the best bloggers in the world. But unfortunately, I don’t know any blogger who is or was an English teacher. Lol. Anyway if you are a blogger, I am quite sure you enjoy writing. That is why you are a blogger. Today I am going to write some tips which will surely help you to improve your writing quality. After reading this post, you will be able to write an even better blog post. So let’s take a look.
So, what do you mean by a quality blog post?
Well, simply a quality blog post means that posts that will help people and people will love and share with others. And of course, it will be search-friendly too. That’s it.
Choose a topic which solves the problem: When you are blogging on any topic, you should first care about your reader. Always mind it that you are blogging for your reader not for yourself unless it’s your personal blog. So people won’t care a great written post on your hobby. Most of your blog readers read your blog to get the problem solved and to learn new things. So always try to help your reader and that is why you need to choose that kind of topic which solves the problem of your readers.
Title, title, and title: Ok, answer me two question
- Have you ever read any blog post without reading its title?
- And have you ever read any blog post which title was boring to you I mean didn’t attract you?
I am damn sure your and for both of those question is “NO”. Yes, that’s true when I visit any blog to read at first I read the title. And the title is good enough to attract me then I go for it otherwise I just skip it. Everyone read the title first and then the entire post. People even don’t care about your body if you can’t provide an appealing title. So the title is the main weapon you pull your visitor’s attention. That’s why always try to writing attractive title which will grab readers attention.
Be unique: Uniqueness is another great thing you should have. There are lots of blogs out there and lots of blogs is being created daily. So you need to be unique to stand out of the crowd. Don’t just copy other people’s thoughts. Always try to write your own words. People are here to hear you not others.
Make your blog post easy to scan: People are always busy they might not have enough time to read word by word. So you need to make your blog post well formatted and scan-able so that people might quickly take a look at your post and get the idea you want to share. Always make your blog post point out.
Read twice after complete your post: That’s the technique I always follow while writing any blog post. After completing my post I read my post at least twice and that helps me to find out any problem with my post. And I hope this will help you too.
